Fountain of Youth

We have found the fountain of youth! Bring eternal youth to your body with one simple thing, WATER. That is right! good ol' H2O. (Ironic the fountain of youth is usually made up of water right?)

It is recommend to drink 8, 8 ounce drink a day. That is about 2 liters a day.  Think of a plant that has gone a few days without water. It gets a bit brown and wilty. The same things happen to humans. Make a goal this summer to drink no less than 2 liters a day, especially if you are active to stay young and fresh!

Sports drinks should only be drunk if you have exerted yourself for more than an hour to repenish electrolytes. Sodas, alcoholic beverages, juices, milks are fluids but they can more problematic for hydration reasons. When I played football my fellow players gloated about having drank alcohol before the football game rather than water. They said a bottle of beer has enough fluid. It was no surprise that these women who were as old as I was looked like they were in their 40s

 60% of the human body is made of water. Make sure to supply the human body with the things that it is most made up of by jumping the fountain of youth and drinking it all up!
