I claim today, lazy day. Wednesday from here on out is lazy day. It is hump day so you are not sure whether to hate it or love it. Why not make it a lazy day?
I challenge you to participate in some active rest. Go for a walk, take an extended nap (it actually is very good for you), draw, read out in the beautiful sun light, pick up a new hobby, garden, play catch with your kid or dog, go for a hike, learn a new hobby or you can do what I do on Wednesdays and blog or write.
Avoid sitting and watching TV. TV melts your brain and honestly, you learn very little from most of what you watch. Avoid computers, except to look for fun activities, writing or listen to music on Pandora. Make something delicious (and since this is a health website it should be low-fat and healthy) and serve it to your family, don't go out to eat. Try enjoying your family time rather than bringing some pretty little waiter into your family business.
Active rest is very important for your body and mind. It brings a great peace and tranquility to your home and life. So on hump day, do yourself a favor and don't drag your feet, use it as an opportunity to expand yourself.
