Gluten Free Diet? Try again!


Prepare to me amazed! There are so many people like this! When I sold supplements I was asked a lot if the protein was gluten free, dairy free, egg free or what have you. My question to them was why do they need gluten/dairy/egg free? They looked dumbfounded by this question. Why I would ask that question when everyone said that it would help them lose weight?

I have said it once and I will say it again, the only time you need to eliminate these things from your diet is if you have an intolerance or an allergy. Eggs, dairy and even gluten are not bad for you and eliminating them unnecessarily will only cost you money, time and a big head ache.

The most important thing you can do is educate yourself. Don't go gluten free because it worked for someone else. ALWAYS educate yourself first before your try it. Each body is different and unique. We are individuals. We are not Borg. (WOOPS! My nerd is showing)

Be sensitive to those with Celiac Disease and Gluten Intolerance. Thanks to this amazing discovery and access to gluten free foods these dear people can enjoy pizza and other goodies without suffering for it later. If you are throwing a party it is considerate to ask your guest if they have any allergies.
