Food for Thought

Did you know that it is cheaper and more fitness friendly if you cook your own food? Why not give it a shot and see how it does on your budget and on your scale.

These are the two website I get most of my recipes. It tells you how many calories are in them.
I save by buying only three to four days worth of food. That reduces a lot of waste and keeps food fresh.

If you are not a good cook and burn everything here is a story for you. My best friend was one of the worst cooks ever! Somehow she would mess up just a little and everything would fall apart. (She made the best sugar cookies in the world however. Hug-Hess sugar cookies have nothing on her cookies.) After practice she got better. Now she is a wonderful little cook. Her and her husband now enjoy night of cooking and eating each others meals. The moral of the story is, the more you cook, the better you get at it.
