Doctors

I asked some people when was the last time they went to get their annual check-up. Most people have not seen a doctor since they were a kid! It was rather terrifying for me personally. I was raised by a nurse who understood the importance of seeing a doctor regularly.
Annual check-ups are some of the most important things you can do to stay healthy. This includes your general practitioner, dentist, eye doctor and for women OBGYN. It will take a max of 5 hours to see all of them so it does not dig into your time very much. There are insurances that are exceptionally affordable for those who can not fully afford it. This includes students. Students have health facilities on campus that only cost 5$ (at least in Utah) to get an all over check-up.
Your teeth and eyes are also apart of your body and thus require a check-up. It is worth it to budget for a teeth cleaning. You can exude confidence when you smile a big and clean smile.
The eye doctor is not just for those who have to wear glasses. Sometimes there is a change in pressure in your eye which must be accounted for. It is very important to monitor that otherwise it will end up to be more expensive when you have to get eye surgery.

As long as the doctor is qualified it really is not that big of a deal who you go to. That is my personal opinion however. If you are one of those who need to have a special connection with your doctor then choose carefully. Do research on that doctor. Call and ask for an appointment to meet and talk so you can get to know the doctor before they tell you to turn and cough.
