It is sometimes misunderstood that eating healthy means eating without any taste. This is a false statement. Eating healthy and happily are do-able. Try spicing it up with spices.
I have some spices growing in my window ready to harvest and some growing outside so I can pick them and dry them. You can also get these taste-bud friendly herbs dried or fresh at your supermarket. I love thyme and rosemary. I put those on my fish and chicken all the time. A tablespoon of each of those only have 7 calories and provide 19% of your iron needs. Click to check out this calorie counter I found for herbs.
Watch out for sauces. They are not herbs and you would be shocked to find out what is in them. (ex. BBQ is about half brown sugar). Avoid salt. It is not an herb and has been shown to increase blood pressure and other heart problems.
Start your own herb garden or keep buying the dried herbs to keep your taste-bud active.
